Ganador Trading is a company started by fly fishermen who understand how passionate anglers can be about the sport of fly fishing. Not just the catching of fish, but the entire experience. We noticed a distinct lack of service and general lack of knowledge when it came to good quality tackle that didn't leave a crater in your wallet. We endeavored to find great tackle, at reasonable prices, and to deliver a quality service to our customers and retailers second to none.

Currently our line up includes the incredible PEAK FISHING FLY TYING VISES. The first time we tied on this full rotary vise, we could only muster a calm "wow".

Mike also personally builds CUSTOM FLY RODS. Fly rods for the individual fly fisher, specific to his needs.
He likes to add a South African Flavour to these rods, and turns his own reel seat inserts (spacers) from African woods such as
Kiaat, Rhodesian Teak, Wild Olive, Pau Rosa (Snake Bean), and others.
The grips are also custom made, from true flor grade cork, burl cork, rubberised cork and composite cork.
Attention to detail is his number one focus, so the angler will know his rod is unique and there is none other like it in the world!
He takes no short-cuts with the construction of the rod either...every part is meticulously assembled ensuring the rod will last a lifetime.
Mike does all the woodwork, cork work, and assembly of the rod personally, and is arguably the best graphite fly rod builder in South Africa.
